Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team in the role of Senior Engineering Project Manager specializing in the Dams and Levee marketplace. Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead and manage high-profile projects related to dams and levees from inception to completion. This includes overseeing project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in the dams and levee marketplace. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing expert guidance, and delivering exceptional service.
Technical Expertise: Utilize your expertise in geotechnical engineering, particularly in the design and analysis of dams and levees, to provide innovative and effective solutions to complex challenges. Review technical reports, designs, and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff working on dams and levee projects. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to help team members achieve their full potential.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance. Conduct regular quality assurance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and ensure client satisfaction.
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within the dams and levee marketplace. Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic initiatives, prepare proposals, and participate in client presentations to secure new projects and expand our client base.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in California or the ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on dams and levees.
Proven track record of successfully managing and executing complex engineering projects, preferably in the public sector.
Strong client-facing experience and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in project management software and technical analysis tools.
Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations related to dams and levees.
